
This Working group focusing on environmental impact, social acceptance, spatial planning and the economic impact of R&D and innovation.
Key areas in this thematic may include: cost and financing of wind turbine and wind farm projects, EIA guidelines on environmental impact, end-of-life policies, radar issues, on and offshore spatial planning.
A Working Group is composed of a small number of high-level persons willing to participate to the work of the Technology Platform. Working Groups members are selected from a call of expression of interest launched by the Secretariat. Selection is performed by the Steering Committee based on objective criteria.
The Chairperson of Working Group 5 is Ms. I. Kielichowska (GE). Ms. Kielichowska was elected at the 14th Steering Committee meeting, in October 2012.
The Secretary of Working Group 5 is Mr. C. Albero (GL Garrad Hassan).
Members of the group were selected through a Call for Expression of Interest, launched by the Secretariat of the Technology Platform. The call closed on 1 October 2010.
