On February 12 and 13, 2009 the first Dutch offshore wind energy conference was held in Den Helder, the Netherlands.
The event was organised by We@Sea/ATO/ NWEA.
The goal of the conference was to dicuss the latest R&D developments in offshore wind energy and to encourage an exchange of best practices.

Filippo Gagliardi, European Wind Energy Technology Platform (TPWind) Project Manager, joined the meeting and delivered a presentation on TPWind, its Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) and its offshore strategy. His slides are available here.
